For all the lovely folks that joined in on the fun, let's play again!

I’ve been saving this post all week trying to decide if I was comfortable sending in a picture for all of the world-wide-web. I’m so glad you changed the rules. I love your site because you always share recipes that our family loves. One of our favorites is the shrimp in zippy tomato sauce. http://simpledailyrecipes.com/3830/shrimp-in-zippy-tomato-sauce/
I really like SDR because of the simple, yet really tasty, fresh and sophisticated recipes. Most email newsletters I sign up with are boring or the recipes just aren’t as good as they look (or rely solely on canned soup and cool-whip!). I love the simple format, how the majority of the recipes are really easy, and Jill’s great palate. I have liked all of the recipes so far!
SDR is great! Yummy, SIMPLE recipes! Picking a favorite would be impossible!
I look forward everyday to SDR for new ideas to cook meals. I really enjoy the variety to choose from. So Glad we have Jill. Thank you!
Jill, I love your SDR site/emails because they are simple and very easy to follow! I am also from Texas, and I enjoy listening/watching your videos. You sound like me! LOL I love the fresh ingredients that you use also. I love that you enjoy BBQ and BBQ sauces too! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE it all. I appreciate all that you do for/with this site!!!
This is a great giveaway. I watch him on the Wisconsin channel from time to time and he does such a great job explaining. I love grilling even in the winter time so this is really cool. I would have to say that even though yours and his recipes are the greatest I would have to go with the brat tube recipes that he grilled and soaked onions and put butter into a big tub of beer and after grilling the brats he placed them in the bath to soak. Most yummy.

Of the long list from SDR, I love the banana puding recipe, it’s my favorite.
I love SDR coz its simple, healthy and easy, over all it unique. I love to cook and I think cooking is in my blood..lol. I turn to SDR if I want something new. and I use SDR to show off to my friends at gatherings or dinners. More power!!!

My favorite SDR recipe (recipe recipe? hehe) is Loaded Potato Potluck Favorite. Everyone who tastes it loves it, and it’s something I make every month (and divide and freeze). I like SDR because the recipies often make me rethink how I do certain things and I change/add stuff to make my recipes tastier/healthier.
Jill, I love your recipes but especially all of the veggie-lover ones since I don’t eat red meat. Your hummus, broccoli salad and cream of zucchini soup recipes are standard in my house. I also like & appreciate the recipes using chickpeas!
At 33yrs old I am just starting to learn how to cook. Yes, I know.. pathetic!! But this website has been my savior. The recipes are great and easy enough for me to cook and not ruin!! My favorite recipe so far is the roasted shrimp, orzo & feta salad. My mom was actually impressed when I brought to the latest family gathering. Thanks for helping a newbie that everyone thought was a hopeless cause.
hands down my favorite recipe is http://simpledailyrecipes.com/85/ms-lucys-dessert/. it’s ridiculously easy & super delicious! how can it get any better than that?
I love and value the SDR emails because Jill cooks like the folks I know cook. Very often the ingredients are in my cabinets. Jill, thanks so much.

I have wanted to write to you and tell you how blind friendly your recipes are. For example, the Creamy Shrimp Creole, “love it!”, has you put all your chopped, prepped veggies in one container ahead of time, this is a great tip not just for us blind cooks, but for everyone. I love your recipes because they are practical and have wiggle room to make changes in them. Thanks for all your hard work and keep it up.

I like so many of your recpies, but the main reason I love SDR is I have most of the things on hand if I want to try one of your recipes or the items are easy to find in my local grocery stores if I do not have all the necessary ingredients
I love so many of your recpies. The main reason I like SDR is I typically have the ingredients on hand if I want to try a new recpie, but if I find myself short of an ingredient they are usually easy to find in my area.
(hope this is not a duplicate I had problems when I tried to post earlier)
I love your Italian rice recipe!! It rocks!! Thank you!
I love SDR because you provide such wonderful dishes made with fresh ingredients. I am part of an organic produce buying club and your recipes meld so well with the produce I receive. Thank you for sharing!!!
I found it exciting following your recipe in SDR, a newly wed like me find it difficult to cook yummy and health food for my husband but with your help by receiving e-mails from you made me feel confident that I will always have great food to serve to my hubby. PAN FRIED CAULIFLOWER WITH SUNBLUSH TOMATO BUTTER and CHICKEN BREASTS SAUTEED WITH ORANGE are my top choice they are very easy to cook, very desirable to the taste and my hubby really loves it.
i’[m always like to try new recipes and pass them on
I enjoy the recipes from Simple Daily Recipes because, unlike some really enjoyable cookbooks I own, they don’t require 24 ingredients and trips to 3 different stores to accumulate those ingredients. Yet, the recipes are packed with flavor and are interesting and fun to prepare.
I like SDR because I like new and interesting recipes to try I love diversity and variety with almost everything especially food. So I really appreciate the recipes and ideas I get from SDR
I like SDR because I can always find something new to prepare.
So far, my favorite SDR recipe is the Four Bean Salad that Rocks. So easy, so low in sugar compared to other bean salads, and it’s so economical to make. And it’s so yummy!
Jill McKeever, you have become a very special person to me! Since I moved to Auburn, Alabama I’ve kept your email recipes. I’m from Dallas, and your down-home attitude about cooking is a daily joy. I really miss all the Barbecue and Chili Cookoffs in Texas. Alabama doesn’t do those things and people here can really benefit from your recipes!
I come from a town in Northern Cape, Kimberley, South Africa, and there comes a time, when life is so hectic that there is just no time to do the impossible for Super,so i started browsing the web for lovely simple easy recipes and i found SDR and im been loving it,its the greatest recipes i have ever found,SDR recipes has made my life a living joy i have recommend it to all my Friends and Family,my favourite recipe is Oven -Fried sweet Potato Fries, they easy as well as Healthy and not exspensive to make.
I have been always inspired by the recipes in SDR, especially the (chicken) salad. it gave me confidence also to try inventing salad when some of the ingredients are not available in the Philippine market.
My colleagues usually commend the nutritious food that I’m bringing in the office. One time, I even emailed Jill and i was surprised and delighted that she really replied!
Jill, I hail from beautiful Cape Town, Southern tip of Africa. My fellow country woman from Kimberley listed your Fried Sweet Potato Fries as her favourite, and since you put this recipe out there, I have been making sweet potato fries forever! Although I love potatoes, sweet potatoes are so much more healthy and I don’t even miss normal fries anymore. Another favourite is your Sweet & Zesty Fiesta Salad, a real treat in Summer and so easy to make – again a very healthy choice. Hope we will have a chance to win as well, although we’re far away in South Africa!
I like SDR because it allows my family to try new things, my children enjoy it when I find something new I want to try. I like the ability to expand my horizons and we’ve tried many recipes that flat made my kids SMILE! (that will make me come back again and again) I also enjoy that they are written by real folks not rich movie stars, making them more realist for a working mom, thank you giveaway or not, thank you. (but I am new to bbq-ing, so maybe that will change in the near future)
WOOPS! I’m receiving too many emails. When I went to ‘Manage your subscriptions’ I was informed I need a ‘key’. I certainly want to continue the SDR – just not an email for every comment.
Jim, I removed your name from this post. Let me know if you see anymore emails on this post.
Four beans that rock turned out to be a nice dish
Thank you for the texture variations. My mouth is very happy…..
I have used many of the SDR and enjoyed all. The CAKE BALLS are a favorite of friends and family. I usually make 3 flavors at one time and use a different decoration to distinguish the flavor. Most are given to friends as a treat. It’s fun to hear the love-love-love comments. Keep up the great work.
Just joined!! You had me at “Grilled Baby Back Ribs”!
Looking forward to trying your recipes.
There is not one recipe I have tried, that I have not fallen in love with! I have now made 22 of the recipes you have posted, and I have had nothing but positive feedback, and a 5 pound weight gain on my part, hahaha. Just to mention a few, Moist Corn Bread in a Cast Iron Skillet? To die for! Broccoli Soup? Love at first spoon-full. Orange Cake with Glaze? Is it embarrassing to have had seconds? Thirds? ok-ok fourths? The point is, I love this website, it’s fun, inviting, and inventive. Keep up the fantastic work Jill!
