Pam Professional High Heat Cooking Spray

Some time back, I was given a chance to sample Pam Professional High Heat cooking spray. I thought, "Sure. Why not? I doubt I'll notice anything special. It's probably just another cooking spray."

BOY WAS I WRONG!

The first thing I noticed after baking with it was that it didn't "gum" up on my baking pan. The excess spray just sat beaded on top like water, waiting for me to wipe it away.

That led to my second discovery; the ease of wiping away the baked on food residue. All I needed was a paper towel. No scrubbing powders, no sitting in hot water for a few minutes, nothing like that at all.

AFTER cooking those meatloaf muffins.

Here's my muffin pan AFTER cooking meatloaf muffins. It looks like a brand new pan, doesn't it?

  • I remember reading about this in Cook’s Illustrated. I haven’t tried it yet but they agreed with you – it really did work well.

  • I like to watch your new discoveries. You are really great and sweetable person for the cooking.

  • I JUST saw this at the store and was wondering if it was good or just a fancy package!

I could have used it last weekend… regular spray always burns when we do pancakes. Sounds like a fix.

  • The marketing on Pam Professional High Heat is trying to appeal to the IronChef foodie types. But pay no mind to that – THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS!It’s formulated for extreme high heat cooking (I’m thinking grilling & broiling for my uses.)But my truly favorite part is that it will NOT get gummy on your cookware. Just like you see in the 2nd picture above, excess spray just beads up like water and wipes off like water.Pick up a can and see for yourself. It costs the same as regular Pam, but it’s WAY BETTER!

I purchased a can and loved it…but that was about two years ago and can’t find it in the stores anymore…..wondering if it was discontinued for some reason? I live in Pasadena, Texas, near Houston.
