The number of folks entering the Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day giveaways is truly impressive. I must tell you I think you're all wonderful. Each and everyone that has participated here is seeking a healthier way to eat and that is SO vitally important. I stand on my feet and applaud you and your search for a better lifestyle.
Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day and Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day, are both very good books to guide us along the path of making tastier, healthier breads. If you or someone you care for must pay attention to their intake of gluten, then Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day is the perfect book for baking gluten-free artisan breads. If you're wanting more whole grain breads in your diet then again, Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day is the book for you.
Let us not lose track of the fact that Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day is STILL a healthy bread book to follow. If you are free to eat breads made with various flours, owning this book is right up your alley. When baking from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day, we can still bake whole wheat, multi-grain, and fruity breads. The versatility of the recipes allows us to explore our favorite flavors and eat them, too.

WooHoo! Congratulations!
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who participated in this and previous giveaways. Thanks for playing along and making this so much fun.

I’d love to be able to make bread in 5 minutes a day! What an idea!
It’s a fantabulous idea that works!
Who doesn’t love love love to win a new cookbook and especially one as inspiring as this one. So, please may I? ;+)
AmyRuth
You said that right, AmyRuth!
I’ve been wanting this book ever since it was published!
I like your avatar, Vicki. Is that your shuga-dog?
Third time’s a charm, right? Still love ABin5, but I’m really hoping to win a copy of HBin5 this week. It’s a very distinct possibility that I have developed adult-onset celiac disease, and as much as I’d like to live in denial, if I have to embrace a gluten-free life, at least I can still enjoy awesome bread!
Bless your heart, Lauren. How does one suspect celiac disease? What are the symptoms?
I’m still hoping & praying to win this book. We love fresh bread & I really would like to be able to make gluten-free bread for our niece when she visits. I feel so guilty when she has to bring her own bread!
Hannah, have you been over to the artisan bread in five site? They’ve posted the Master gluten-free recipe from their new book. You could start baking gluten-free bread your niece today.
I tried your baguette recipe that was featured in the Chicago Tribune and would love to explore the whole book.
thanks for another chance to win!!!! I would love to try more whole grains with less brick loaves of bread!
I would love this book! I just recently started making my own bread at home and my mother tries to stay away from gluten, so I would love to make bread for her.
Oh how cool! I would love to add this book to my small yet growing stack of cookbooks.
I truly enjoy your site. I used to make bread more than I do now, because I went through a period where I was too ill, then I lived with first one person and then another where I couldn’t bake. (I rent a room because I lost my husband and have no family and don’t want to go into assisted living. I am doing well, so decided renting a room in a person’s home would help both them and me. But you would be surprized. I finally have found a wonderful lady to permanently stay with, I believe. I love it here and I’ve been “adopted” as part of their family. She loves for me to cook, as she only learned the basics and the family was always busy and did a lot of convenience and take-out. So here I come with my knowledge and love of baking. She has a Kitchen Aid Mixer and Convection Oven, and I am collecting some good (Caphalon) cookware and utensils as I can afford it. I am so happy to be able to cook where I am appreciated and where I can do it my way. I am on a low-sodium diet (I had a stroke) and so she is too, and she is learning about not using salt or sodium and her blood pressure has stabilized in only two months. Amazing, if people would just put the salt shaker down. I wish I had several years ago….but life goes on, and this one is beginning to be wonderful again. I have entered to win your book, but I will find a way to buy a copy before long if I am not so lucky and I don’t count on luck. Thanks for a great website and all your tips, recipes, and hard work are appreciated by this fan. God bless.
You’re a sweetheart, Linda, and I’m glad we’ve met. Cooking is a wonderful service we can do for others.
And baking breads nurtures the soul of the baker as well as the receiver of the bread.
I just remembered, Jesus said “I am the bread of life.” John 6:48
I grind my own grain to make whole wheat bread and would LOVE to have a recipe book that helps me make bread that would be 100% ww. Most of the breads I’ve tried to make 100% ww are too heavy – even with adding gluten.
I’ve loved ABin5 and it has kinda started me on this passion for making bread. I think my husband would say it’s the best thing I make…. (and I try to make good dinners! lol) I just love to make bread! So… I find it very exciting that you are offering their new bread book as a prize!
thanks for the chance to win it!
You’re welcome Erika H.!
That is so cool that you grind your own grains. I have a friend who just started doing the same. She’s promised to let me video her using her grinder and she’s going to share her experience with it.
I have been using ABin5 basic dough to make pizza crust. The pizza turns out so good, I don’t think we will order out for pizza any more. Any why when the dough is always ready to go in the refrigerator
Hi Erika!
I LOVE using the Olive Oil dough spiced with fresh ground pepper and garlic powder for pizza dough and pita bread. After getting the hang of making these recipes, it’s not hard to be adventurous with herbs and spices and still come out with excellent tasting results.
I want to bake more healthy breads this year and decided to only eat bread of my own making at home. I love the idea of healthy FAST bread
I would love to win the Healthy Breads book! My sister and I have been baking like crazy from the original book, and i might fell slightly less guilty if I was eating more healthy versions of their fantastic breads! Thanks for the opportunity!
Thank you, Kim, for participating. Tell your readers about the giveaway. I have 3 more books to hand out.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to make bread(s), however it seemed such a complicated task. Now making it in five minutes would certainly motivate me!
Hi Kathleen!
Making it in 5 minutes is what made me buy Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. We have fresh bread ALL THE TIME. That is not an exaggeration, it’s now our way of life. I no longer buy expensive artisan loaves from the foodie mart. I can bake better, fresher loaves at home for less than a dollar.
I am really excited about the chance to win this cookbook…I have always wanted to learn to make bread!!
Hi Melissa!
It’s super simple to bake breads with both books, Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day and Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day.
They will make you a rock star with your family and friends. Wait and see.
Hoping third time’s a charm! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Bread making is something I always dream of . Not enough courage or knowledge , eventhough I do make Flat breads.
I hope this book (if I win) will take the fear out of me and make me a PRO!!!
Hoping for the best!!!
Thanks
Pearse,
Look through the Bread category here on SDR, you will see plenty of examples of baking successes I’ve had with Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. I am not a professional baker. I am a happy home-cook. Hertzberg and Francois have really made it easy for us to consistently bake delicious and beautiful breads at home.
Sounds like a great book-I’m always looking for new ideas to inspire me in the kitchen!
Trying again for this 3rd giveaway!!! My family is still tired of that Herman Starter and I would LOVE to win this book! My kids love any type of bread and it is fun for them to try all different types! This book looks like it would be a lot of own! Thanks for this giveaway opportunity!
You’re welcome, Lori!
Sounds like a great book! Crossing my fingers for luck!
My husband loves my homemade 100% whole wheat bread, but he would also love some variety. Really good-tasting whole-grain french bread, pizza dough, etc. would be wonderful. Thanks so much for hosting the giveaway, Jill!
I would love to bake Healthy bread using this great book. Thanks for the chance to win this book!
Good Morning Jill,
Once again we have come to this. Having lived through the heartbreak of not winning yet another weekly giveaway, I humbly submit my name once again. I have drowned my sorrow, repeatedly this week, in Crusty Artisanal bread from other well known authors but my fear is that it is not as healthy as it should be and that my consolation will be short lived. My hope is that soon, I will be baking Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day and my joy will be complete and forever. Many thanks for hosting these giveaways and to Zoe and Jeff for what I am sure is a wonderfull book.
LOL! You are TOO MUCH, BOB!
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!
Im sittin here with ALL my fingers crossed – so hard to type! – Hope I can win one!
I truly love bread. One of the things I miss is a good cracked wheat, whole wheat bread. But no matter what kind, I want more and more to go with simple ingredients, stuff I can pronounce, and nothing I dont need or want in my bread. Complex carbs are so much better for me with diabetes, and while I love the first bok (Really, LOVE it!!) I look forward to winning (or buying) his one to keep myself healthier.
No more processed, white, ‘mushy’ white breads from the market. I want to make my own and keep the control of what I eat in my own kitchen!
Tim
I would love to own this book! Just had a chance to glance through it over the weekend and thought it was lovely, but I held off making the purchase. Maybe this is my chance to own it after all!
