An Unusual Apple Recipe Print

Apples are not only delicious, they make a happy centerpiece on the dining table.  My family and friends took such notice of my no-budget decorative idea and loved the simplicity, I thought I should share it with you.

We have a beautiful Red Oak in our front yard and it's fun to watch it change colors in the Fall.  I sent the kids out on a mission to find the prettiest leaves they could find.  Naturally, the mission turned into a game of "bury me in the leaves."  Eventually the mission was accomplished.  I had what I needed to make a colorful layer on a charger then laid the apples on top.

My husband noticed how the centerpiece gave him a "you're home and everything is going to be alright" comfort when he walked in the door. (Extra bonus score!)
