I was so glad to see a place that tells people about Angelfood Ministries.
The people who come in to order or pick up their Angefood boxes are a blessing. The men load the boxes in their vehicles and sometimes they see who can be the first one to take their boxes to their vehicle. We all enjoy visiting with everyone. People can really be a blessing and especially when you are doing something to help them out, they are so grateful.
I love working with Angelfood Ministries and so does our entire group. We love getting the word out and to get more people involved in ordering and helping with this ministry.
There have been quite a few that tell us they are getting to eat food they otherwise would not be able to buy in the stores so it gives them more of a varity of what they can choose from for their diet. Now they have the Senior Box which has 10 prepared meals that are balanced out with protiens and carbs. We have one lady that buys 1 to 2 of these every month and says she loves not having to worry about what to cook and still have a balanced meal.

I work with Angelfood Ministries at a local church and as someone said, Angelfood is for everyone. In these times a lot of people budget their money and Angelfood helps you to stay on top of your budget.
Angelfood Ministries has been adding new boxes to the one they started out with. They now have 4 boxes you can pick from and then you can add specials to it after ordering these boxes. There are a lot of people who have ordered Angel Food and they love to have new recepies to use. Everyone gets tired of the same thing all the time so new ideas are always welcome.

Actually anyone can buy a box of food from Angel Food ministries. There is no income requirement, so anyone who wants to save money on groceries can purchase from them.

FYI–There is another website that provides 4 recipes for each meat every month–for free. Just do a search for Angel Food Ministries recipes.

Hi Kathy,

I can see your viewpoint and I thought the same thing at first.

I’m sure MANY people do just that. However, there are tons of folks that like a whole plan written out for them, that don’t have time or even care to search out recipes and organize them into a menu plan.

Let’s not forget that the contents in the Angel food boxes change every month. So the recipient would have to research recipes and organize them into menu plan month after month.

Menu4Moms also works with the organizations that help distribute the food boxes.

Let’s say an individual from a church that works to distribute Angel Food boxes, goes through the link provided here. They have an opportunity to obtain a license to print as many FREE recipe menu plans/ideas as they need to hand out.

The menus provided by menus4moms are very well written and planned to match the Angel Food program. A lot of hard work has gone into creating and publishing a valuable and beneficial product. The price of the subscription is very affordable for both individuals and organizations distributing boxes.

menus4moms offers a free month for folks that are unsure about fully committing to the subscription. The subscription is set on a month by month basis and anyone who wishes to stop their subscription can do so at anytime.

It benefits folks at different levels and needs, so that’s when I decided to promote menus4moms.

Seems to me that if people are buying the box, then they probably cannot afford to pay for recipe ideas. If they have the internet, they can google the ingredients in the box for some recipe ideas.
