Thank you for hosting this! I have looked at libraries and such for the book but have not found it. Money is tight and I haven’t had the extra “dough” “kneaded” to buy it. Here’s hoping…
Donna
Ahhahaha! Donna, I love puns! You ought to be around my folks when we get started. It’s always a contest
as to who gets the last pun.
it’s too bad that books not in the libraries, it’s been out since 2007. Well, if could win the lottery, I’d buy everyone this book. It’s a book that
will last a lifetime of dinners.
I love this cookbook – the recipes are easy and wonderful !! I’ve introduced friends and family to this book and have given many copies of it away. I’ve pre-ordered their new book and cannot wait for it to arrive in the mail.
Hi Doreen! You’re such a wonderful friend!
What would you say is your most baked dough recipe from the book? I know you probably have several, sooo, give me top 3.
And what are you still waiting to bake up next?
My top 3 doughs, at least one is in the frig at all times:
Olive Oil for pizza crusts and pitas.
Whole Wheat for what else, sandwiches.
Master Recipe for baguettes and French bread soaked with garlicky butter.
I have yet to make the Foccacia with Onion and Rosemary, page 150.
Oh! and the Brioche filled with Chocolate Ganache, page 195. (I’m scared I may never fit into my jeans again if I bake that one.)
Congratulations Pat! I’m so happy you won! *clapping*
