These are delicious. I’ve only been making waffles for about 6 months or more. I’ve never owned a waffle baker. We were always pancake eaters. But now, they LOVE waffles! So I’m playing around and learning how to get a crispy waffle that melts in the mouth. I think a good waffle doesn’t need a lot of syrup or toppings. It should be enjoyed practically on its own. So it should be crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The batter should be spiced with cinnamon or flavored with a good vanilla or almond extract.
