Now you have me reminiscing the State Fair. I love that event! I’ve attended it my WHOLE life. Memaw & I never missed it
when I was school age. And my kids have yet to miss a year. It’s a “must experience” for anyone.

I used to make this pie years ago when I was out on my own and in my first apartment. Anytime a friend was planning on visiting I had this pie ready. Wnen I got a couple of room mates they would beg me to make this pie EVERY
weekend! I got the recipe at The State Fair of Texas at the Texas ag booth. After moving so many times, and how one tends to lose things when you move, I lost the recipe. Your recipe is REALLY close to that old one I used to make. I look forward to making this and will let you know. The pie I made was always better on the second or third day also, IF it was around that long!
