McKeever Tribe Chili, v.1.0

This is a fast chili recipe that tastes like it’s been stewing all afternoon.

  • 1pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano
  • 1 (6oz.) can of Tomato Paste
  • 5 (6oz.) can water
  • 1½ tablespoon Masa Harina
  • ¾ teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can Ranch Beans, drained
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans, drained

Using a large cooking pot, on medium high heat, brown beef in oil. When beef is almost cooked, add onion and oregano then cook until meat is browned.

Lower heat to medium & add tomato paste, Masa Harina & one can of water, stir until smooth. Add remaining water and spices, then stir until well blended. Bring to a low boil and stir in ranch beans. Allow time for beans to warm up in chili and serve.
