If you enjoyed yesterday's video, Canning with Linda. Then you should meet my other friend, Ruth. Ruth Macy teaches us how to make homemade Apple Butter outside. Ruth is famous for her apple butter at the annual Heritage Folk Festival here in Sulphur Springs, Texas. For the longest time, I just knew her as the Apple Butter Lady.

    Ruth Macy is my Aunt, and many the summer I spent on the farm in Joilet Montana. I got to know that Apple Butter, and the rest of her cooking, and Uncle Dode and I always made a point to see that leftovers were a thing other folks had! Is there anyway to get a copy of this segment on her cooking Apple Butter? I haven’t seen her in more years then I care to admit, her being down south and me now marking time here in Minnesota?
