I've been working with the wonderful Cassie on a project with Nestle Carnation The Cooking Milk.  Cassie offered me two coupons for free Carnation Evaporated Milk, a holiday recipe booklet, a nifty can topper, and a $50 gift card to help cover the cost of ingredients for cooking two recipes with Carnation Evaporated Milk.  I said, "SURE! I can do that." ;D

I baked up Loaded Potato Potluck Favorite and Smoked Gouda and Cheddar Mac with Spinach.  Both turned out creamy & soul satisfying and worth adding into our recipe rotation of comfort foods.  After experiencing these recipes, I have a new perspective on using cooking milk.  It has earned its place onto the pantry staple list.

Well, how did we get here?  I got to thinking about you and how much I appreciate you as a reader of Simple Daily Recipes.  I wanted you to have a $50 gift card, too.  I wish I could afford to give every reader a gift card, but I cannot.  However, I took a chance and asked Cassie from One2One if she had an extra gift card I could giveaway to ONE of my readers.  And she said, "SURE! In this giveaway, I'm asking you to swap one of your favorite holiday recipes for a chance to win the gift card.  The recipe can be for ANY holiday, i.e. July 4th, Easter, Father's Day.  Whatever cooking holiday holds your best recipe, I want to know about it.  I'll tell you up front.  I would love to arrange everyone's recipes and share them out to the entire Simple Daily Recipes' family in the form of a downloadable cookbook.
