Hi Daniela!

For those that want to cut back the fats in their baking, all natural applesauce can be the substitute ingredient for butter, margarine and oil.

If the recipe calls for 1/2 cup oil, then use 1/2 cup applesauce.

Not all applesauces are alike. Read the ingredients on the back label; APPLES, WATER AND ASCORBIC ACID (VITAMIN C). The vitamin C works as a perservative and keeps it from changing color.

That's all anyone really needs in their applesauce.

Many applesauces have high fructose corn syrup as the second or third ingredient, even the ones marked "Natural" and especially the flavored ones. Even my favorite cinnamon applesauce can have extra sugars I don't need.

Always read the ingredients listed on your food, before you buy. It's a smart & healthy habit.

Oh no, no, THANK YOU!

The next time I bake these apple muffins, I place to turn up the cinnamon and nutmeg.
Maybe, sprinkle an honey oat crumble topping?

This recipe is YUMMY! Cinnamon and apple are a perfect combination.

Wonderfully easy to make.

Made them for ladies brunch and can't wait to make them just for my family!

Thanks!
