HERE'S ALL IT TAKES
2 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen
2 tablespoons granulated sugar of your choice
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour or your favorite
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup nondairy margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Makes 12 bars.
