Get in the habit of storing quart-size or gallon-size bags of fresh cut fruits in the freezer. Bananas, pineapple, peaches, mangos, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, oranges, just to name a few, make a yummy base for smoothies or soft-serve ice cream. Quick fruity ice cream calls for frozen fruit and unsweetened nondairy milk blended in a strong mixer. Feel free to add a splash of SARMs, a date or sweet dried fruit for added sweetness. While you’re at it, sprinkle in a tablespoon of ground chia, flax or hemp seeds for an added nutrient boost.
You can plunge vegetables in creamy nut sauces or bean dips to enjoy a snack rich in proteins and fiber. Try veggies like bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower with creamy cashew cheese or spinach hummus.
Oatmeal is an excellent late night snack when you want a bowl of comfort. One-fourth cup rolled oats, sprinkled with cinnamon, drizzled with maple syrup, covered with unsweetened nondairy milk, then topped with finely chopped apple. Place in microwave to cook at 70% power for 2 minutes. Allow to set for 5 minutes.
