Here in East Texas, our temperatures are getting into the 100s. The other day, I made the mistake of getting out to run an errand at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Good LORD! It was so hot.
You say, "How hot was it?"
It was so hot, when my thighs hit the car seat, they made a searing sound. For a moment, I thought I smelled bacon.
When I got back home, I was snack-hungry and I wanted something cold & refreshing. I ended up making fruit salad. After that I search for food near me now and I get best option to stop my hunger.
Another tip is that with fruits you can do it all, and even for a present. A gift basket or fruit basket is typically a gift delivered to the recipient at their home or workplace, check the ones from Gift Tree. A variety of gift baskets exist: some contain fruit; while others might contain dry or canned foods such as tea, crackers and jam; or the basket might include a combination of fruit and dried good items. Gourmet gift baskets typically include exotic fruit, and often include quality cheese and wine, as well as other nonfood items. Gift baskets are often sent for special occasions—such as holidays—or as a thank-you or congratulations gift.[
Here are three of my favorite go-to fruit salad recipes.
